Define who operates your agent controls.

An operating-service discussion starts with responsibilities, coverage, escalation and access. Availability and staffing are confirmed in a written proposal.

What the engagement covers

Responsibility matrix

Which controls your team operates and which tasks would be delegated.

Coverage and escalation

Hours, contact channels, severity definitions and incident handoff.

Access and change controls

Client-owned identities, approvals, audit records and emergency procedures.

Acceptance and exit plan

Service prerequisites, handover, reporting and transition arrangements.

Scope and responsibilities

This page does not advertise a staffed 24×7 service, a live operations centre or a response-time SLA. Any operating commitment requires confirmed staffing, tooling, jurisdiction, security terms and an agreed contract. Do not rely on monitoring or incident handling until the service has been accepted.

A practical example

A client may retain its own incident response while delegating scheduled control maintenance. The proposal should name the people authorised to change policies, the times they cover, and what happens when an urgent incident occurs outside those hours.

Start with a clear scope

Tell us which systems, actions and review requirements are in scope. We will discuss the work, responsibilities and deliverables before you commit.
